If you haven’t heard about it yet, Joel Comm - author of a New York Times Bestseller, The Adsense Code - has launched an online ‘Reality TV’ show about us - Internet entrepreneurs!
The show gathered contestants by inviting auditions via Youtube. The selected contestants were flown out to Colorodo, home of Joel’s Infomedia, and put through a Survivor-style competition where they were put into teams, and taught the principles about Internet Marketing by IM guru Mark Joyner.
The team execution challenge was centered on applying Joyner’s principles of Simpleology to the creation of a new web page that would serve to reach a new market with the Simpleology program. The winning team received a lifetime subscription to all Simpleology products. The losing team joined Joel Comm, Mark Joyner and Cresta Pillsbury (of HackerSafe) in the Judgment room, where two team members were targeted for elimination.
With varying levels of online experience, the contestants will continue to learn from some of the world’s leading Internet marketing experts, including Marlon Sanders, Brad Fallon and Perry Marshall. Episode two to be released soon will feature Armand Morin, another Internet marketing guru who’s IM business has made over $25 million dollars.
One of the things I wondered is whether any of these contestants had went ahead and created a website. Apparently I’m not the only one wondering - Angela Wills dug around and found web sites for most of the contestants. You can find the links on her blog here: Star VA (Virtual Assistant)
If you haven’t watched it, take 45 minutes out of your workday - you might find it just the sort of break that rev’s up your day and inspires YOU to be The Next Internet Millionaire!
